Designed for use around milling operations and rough carving along the grain, the bark spud is a very useful tool to have in your arsenal.

Equipped with an 18” handle, to allow control over the cutting blade, a Bark Spud can be used to clean dirty bark or timber from the path of a sawmill, whether it’s a bandsaw or chainsaw mill. Cleaning off dirty timber increase band or chain life and reduces downtime due to blunt cutters.

It can also be used to remove material quite rapidly in larger carving jobs.

Bark spuds have a very strong blade that will hold an edge, and a hardwood handle.
